This device is used to convert an RCA connection to an F-type coax cable connection. It is primarily used among telephony applications and coaxial networks. It allows composite video and audio data signals are transmitted between an RCA devices such as a VCR to a coax-compliant device such as an HDTV. It supports a large number of RCA/Coax compliant devices that include but are not limited to; Digital HDTVs, CATVs, CCTV cameras, surveillance/security systems, DVD players, DVRs, VCRs, GPS systems, radios, antennas, monitors, amplifiers, transmitters, digital satellites, AV receivers, and much more.
